At Georgiana Head Recruitment we thought the best news we could give candidates for Christmas is the fact that despite the doom and gloom in the press there are still active vacancies in tax in the UK. Our review done on 23rd December shows 100 active tax vacancies. These roles include VAT positions, Personal Tax, Share Schemes, Expatriate Tax. Corporate Tax, Employment Tax and Customs. For further information feel free to call Georgiana Head in confidence on 07957 842 402.

GHD the hair straightening specialists are based up here in Leeds. They have decided to imbue the Yorkshire area with Christmas spirit and sent a team of stylists around the offices and work places of Leeds last week. Both the Hilton Hotel staff and Baker Tilly staff got a make over from these style gurus.
Many offices including Georgiana Head Recruitment sent GHD nominations for offices that deserved a festive treat. Nice to see some festive glitz and glamour from a Yorkshire success story.
Georgiana Head Recruitment has been lucky enough to receive a vast array of Christmas cards this year. Alison and I decided that our favourite was from our PR agency Diana White Associates. This shows Diana and her colleagues in seasonal sexy santa gear. With this in mind we thought we would replicate this ourselves, check out our new images under the ‘about us’ section of our site. Merry Christmas!
To find out more about Diana and her team call Diana on 0113 232 9555.
Sarah Robertson has helped Georgiana Head Recruitment with its brand identity, website and advertising design since we launched in 2007. We’ve always loved her style and referred her to lots of of our clients. We know she is good because our competitor’s have tracked her down to do work on their sites and advertising – and as they say imitation is the best form of flattery. Now one of her websites for her client ‘Magenta Ink’ has gained recognition from the ‘ Good Web Guide’. The ‘Good Web Guide’ aims to be the definitive guide to the best sites on the web.
See http://www.thegoodwebguide.co.uk/index.php?rid=4918 and www.magentaink.co.uk for details.
If you would like to see more of Sarah’s work check out www.creativestate.co.uk and watch out for her new site launching early next year. Alison and I tip her for ‘Business Woman of the Year’ in the future and all this from someone who is still only in her early 20’s.
As a recruitment consultant who specialises in taxation, I spend a large chunk of my time interviewing taxation professionals. It was therefore a pleasure to be asked by The Tax Journal to interview Stephen Coleclough about his career in tax and his appointment as President of the Confédération Fiscale Européenne (CFE). I went to see Stephen at the PwC office at Embankment Place in London.
